Frayed parachute cable ends can and do often times cause false deployments. The inner loop snags on the inner braided wires.
This piece has inner threads, so simply screw it on to your .320" outer diameter cable and the threads will dig into the plastic outer material.

Hi love the handle only thing I don’t like is the cable is too short needed about another 3 feet to route it correctly S&W sells a 20 footer, car is a 1970 Dodge Dart not very large of a vehicle

Little longer with some more thread engagement would have been nice. Was able to get threads to bite and put some nice heat shrink on to dress it up! Does the job, worth the safety improvement!
It's an overpriced small piece of aluminum that cost more to ship than buy lol but, it looks cool.
