Plumb an active catch can into your F150 Coyote with this Motion Raceworks catch can kit. The Motion Raceworks active catch can kit is designed to create the best of both worlds when it comes to PCV. Our Active two stage catch can acts as a sealed system under normal driving conditions featuring a PCV check valve as well as an active valve on the top. This means that under normal driving the crank case pressure will flow through the engine and oil will collect in the can by knocking oil out of the crank case pressure charge. This is accomplished using a complex baffling system and vacuum source from the engine to draw fresh air through one side of the valve cover (filtered by an filter intake pipe like factory), out the other valve cover and into the catch can. 

With this vented kit, when pressure is built up and under spirited driving or racing the pressure is able to be released out of the filter top element. When returning to normal driving the smelly air is contained back in the catch can. 

This kit is recommended on high horsepower applications that want the best of both worlds under normal driving and also high performance conditions. 

This kit contains the following items:

• (2) 10 orb to 5/8" hose barb connection fittings for catch can
• (4) 5/8 factory quick connect 90 degree barb fittings
• (2) 6 ft 5/8" rubber hose sections
  

Note: this kit is designed to work with the factory quick connect style fittings for factory valve covers.

This catch can is the results of years of building, refining, and optimizing N/A and Boosted combos. Featuring a dual internal baffling design, this can not only flows a high amount of air but keeps the filter and your engine bay dry from oil saturation due to poor can design.  

One of the shortcomings of a typical can (including our own) is having fittings on opposing sides, and/or having the fittings clocked incorrectly.  This has been solved by having fittings coming out at 90°'s from the top of the can with a 180° clockable can by using our multiple bolt hole configuration top lid.  This means you can mount the can virtually anywhere in the engine bay and still have the fittings pointing in the correct orientation.  

All cans come bright black anodized for a beautiful and durable finish.

***Note: reusing your factory fresh air source from air intake to (typically) driver side valve cover is adequate, however enough quick connect fittings and line are in this kit to create a new line from your intake tube to driver side valve cover. If replumbing on a factory or supercharged/turbo application, it is advised that your fresh air source comes from pre supercharger or turbo charger to create a non positive pressure air source. Failure to do this will result in inadequate or failed active catch can performance.
