I was able to get it cut down to perfect length for my application. Welded on some mounts and it went together very easily. Only thing I wish they would change is instead of a Delrin bushing I wish they would use a brass bushing or possibly a bearing because after painting the shaft was too thick and would not fit in the Delrin bushing and it kept popping the bushing out when installing the shaft so had to grind down the shaft till it fit and spun easily and then put a thin coat of oil on it to prevent the inner shaft from rusting. Tolerance I believe is just slightly too tight but I was able to make it work and working great. There no options for parts for a 2000 f150 for drag but I was able to make this universal steering column work in my 2000 f150 drag truck
Great kit, i used the column in conjunction with their 6” extension kit so when the wheel is removed the column is almost flush with the dash. Plenty long to cut to what ever length you need. Highly recommend!
Was an easy install into my 2000 Sonoma after I made custom brackets for the column. Would have bought the s10 kit but my headers wouldn't allow the factory column location. I still need to sand out the center of my mpi wheel as it is about .010 to small to fit the motion horn delete plate.

Used the DIY column in my 96 impala ss that is being set up for street/strip use. Mocked the g-body style mounting and welded up some brackets to make it a simple bolt in. Topped it off with a billet directional handle 🤙🏻
Stoked to get to work on my motion race works diy steering kit! After getting the entire engine and trans ripped out of my car the other night and my shop robbed I was beyond happy to see they didn’t touch my motion kit!
The only part I’ve ever gotten from Motion that I was unimpressed with for the price. The quick release and wheel are very nice and work smooth together, the steering shaft assembly however is kind of hinkey honestly. You could easily & cheaply recreate this part in your home shop with zero fab skills.
Motion raceworks went above and beyond helping me replace my column! Have tons of motion parts on my car. Will continue to support them by buying their parts!
Undecided about the Column, it is binding now when I try to rotate it but im hoping the binding is Just because it was cut slightly out of square and once I trim it for my car it will be fine. Time will tell
