Coolant Expansion Tank / Remote Fill Billet Black Anodized 32-103
Please note: fittings are in pictures to show features but are not included unless added in the options/purchased separately.
Motion Raceworks coolant expansion tank / remote fill is exactly what is needed for building an effective cooling system where the radiator is remote mount or is mounted lower than the engine.
We needed a proper expansion tank to feed your LS steam vent kit into. Added your product to the coolant manifold using -16AN hardware made it a clean functional way to keep the engine temp below 170 degrees, even with a horizontal radiator under the bed of the truck. Also have a similar setup on the radiator, running a -10AN hose to the expansion tank in the bed of truck. NO MORE TRAPPED AIR IN THE SYSTEM!!!
Bought this for a rear mount radiator setup in my 69 superbee. Out of the box you can tell its a quality piece. Anodizing is super nice and the bracket for mounting worked perfect. I plan to purchase the over flow can at some point.
Showed up as expected, little bending of the mount to make it fit where I wanted and paired it with a -16 to 3/4 fitting to hook up at stock location. Now my system bleeds perfectly and I’ve achieved the 190 degree temperatures I’ve been chasing instead of 210. One thing I will note is finding a proper sized radiator cap in the pressure that I needed was a struggle but that could just be me.
Feel excited again.
The quality & craftsmanship will have you feeling excited to get your build going again & feel good about investing in components that will last while looking clean.
Jump off the “sloppy build” bandwagon.
Build fast, reliable & worthy things that you’ll have pride in putting your name on.
I got this for a rear mount Radiator setup. Haven't gotten to put it to use yet, but as always! Motions products are second to none on there quality and workmanship!!
Incredible quality, very happy with the part. Had an issue with the initial order, but Dalton on the Motion team, called me and personally explained what went wrong and how theyre going to correct. I am very impressed and will certainly be buying more parts here.
Excellent piece of engineering. Looks sexy and is functional in every way.
Thanks to Dalton for sharing the details on it, and for helping with the purchase.
MRFTW!
Used on an ls swap that i had to mount radiator inside the core support and had no room for a fill neck on radiator. Mounted over on side of engine compartment ahead of strut tower and ran an12 line to water pump housing on engine. Worked slick tks!
Looks great. Big difference between American made and amazon( I should submit the pic of that). I haven’t mounted mine yet. Gotta weld fitting on my radiator and install front fenders. Thanks again for cool stuff. The Duramax powered 56 Handyman is closer to being street sweet.
