The Operator shifter was built for racers who want crisp, repeatable shifts without the sloppy feel and bulky appearance of traditional race shifters. Whether you’re bracket racing, street/strip driving, or building a high-end radial car or Promod, the Operator delivers precise engagement, compact packaging, and a clean interior finish. This one size fits all shifter adapts to your needs, and can be upgrade and built on as they change! Additionally our modular design allows you to add a variety of grips, co2 solenoid, button mounting solutions, and even cup holders to avoid fabrication and improve layout!

*Note: Our 4 speed operator shifters were designed to Air Shift between gears 1, 2, and 3 only. Overdrive/4th Gear will require you to pull the lever. This avoids the chance of shifting into overdrive under full throttle.

The build quality and finish is spot on, as is everything I’ve ordered and received from Motion. I’m a Motion fan. I like their entire business philosophy. Products are thought out. Customer service is polite, professional, “real”, personal. Best in the industry in my opinion. Everything I’ve received from Motion in my multiple orders ,over time , has been good stuff. Even their packaging presentation is a few steps above ALL the big box parts suppliers. (i.e. the yellow and black typical corporate out of touch supplier, and the ted white and blue guys) I know Motion is growing in leaps and bounds, and I’m glad for them. Just don’t loose that class and personal respect you have for the customer. Lots of businesses need to take a look at how you interact with your customer base. Anyway, nice shifter. I’m glad I purchased it and will continue to source parts from you guys. I’m constructing a fairly aggressive drag n drive car currently myself. I will be equipping it with your well thought out parts for the drag n drive culture and being able to be successful from your learned experiences. In all honesty, I do have one criticism. What I read in the previous comments as an issue , but I still ordered it anyway, is a real thing. I also experience the 1st to second shift is sketchy doing it manually. If you just put pressure forward up shifting, it skips right from 1st to 3rd and blows right past 2nd. Kind of annoying. If you slap ,hit , the shifter it catches in 2nd like it should. But if you just push forward, it never catches 2nd, goes straight to 3rd. That might need a look at. I don’t know if that’s just a 4L60 shifter quirk or an all Operator thing. Doesn’t make me regret getting the operator though. I still like it. As a 51 year old “gearhead” watching you guys grow and do your thing as you are, much respect. In my opinion, Motion is the standard by which ALL motorsports parts manufacturers and suppliers should perform. Stay cool J Lane
