The Operator shifter was built for racers who want crisp, repeatable shifts without the sloppy feel and bulky appearance of traditional race shifters. Whether you’re bracket racing, street/strip driving, or building a high-end radial car or Promod, the Operator delivers precise engagement, compact packaging, and a clean interior finish. This one size fits all shifter adapts to your needs, and can be upgrade and built on as they change! Additionally our modular design allows you to add a variety of grips, co2 solenoid, button mounting solutions, and even cup holders to avoid fabrication and improve layout!
*Note: The 4L80E operator was designed to Air Shift between gears 1, 2, and 3 only. Overdrive/4th Gear will require you to pull the lever. This avoids the chance of shifting into overdrive under full throttle.

Playing with positions for the Motion Raceworks 4L80E Operator Shifter. Just took the TH400 Operator Shifter out, slight adjustment in placement do to the CO2 solenoid. The Th400 Shifter worked very well, that's why I returned to Motion for this one!

When looking for a forward shifting RMVB 4l80 shifter this one hit the mark. Integrated air shifter not an after thought. Added the mac valve bracket and accent handles make this thing pop. Can't wait to get it in, smooth operation and very clean feel. I was skeptical but this is a NICE piece.

Coming from a TCI outlaw shifter the operator is a night and day difference, the shifts are very positive with nearly zero slop. The shifter itself is light, but also feels very solid. Added air cylinder operates smoothly and makes its shifts cleanly. Very Happy with the product.

Make the shifter so it is impossible to miss second gear and go straight from 1-3. Yes, I have it adjusted correctly and I got the "talk" from the guy who responded to my RMA request to send it back. I get that once you "learn" how to use it, it should function as inteded, I just am not happy with how you intend it to function. That should be explained better in your videos, which I watched before buying. Unhappy with your return policy, but that is on me for not looking into it before I bought it. I expected to be delighted with my first motion raceworks purchase and it was "meh". Will probably be my last.

The shifter is flawless. I would say I wish there was a way to build more fore/aft adjustment into the cable bracket that bolts to the trans. The pin that goes into my shift linkage was at the end of the cable threads. Would have liked to have enough to get the jam nut on the end of the cable rather than behind the pin. Overall excellent product. Feels great in hand.

Shifter looks great. Have not hooked it completely yet. But did not come like the picture. Apparently the picture is the co2 assisted shifter. All I got was a shifter with no cyclinder.
