3/8" NPT RIFE Standard IAT Air Temperature Sensor GM Delphi Connector -10 to 335°F (52-1243)
RIFE Standard IAT / Intake Air Temp Sensors are perfect for use in the range of -10 to 335°F. These sensors feature ultra-fast response thermistors which are not only faster but more accurate than traditional EFI sensors on the market. Fast response times and accurate readings mean more accurate adjustments to your tune for a safer and more reliable tuneup that you can count on.
This IAT sensor is our best seller and is typically used for naturally aspirated and intercooled turbo or blower cars, but are acceptable for other application around the vehicle. This sensor is optimized for accuracy and resolution in the 0°-210°F temperature range.
*Note: Unlike most Motion Raceworks family of products, these sensors like most electronics are not 100% Made in the USA. While we diligently attempt to source all US electronic components, we have not been able to source everything domestically.

***The Hi-AT sensor series is typically used for turbo and blower cars as an IAT sensor and for compressor outlet temperature measurement. They are also acceptable for other applications around the vehicle that require an extended temperature range. The Hi-AT sensor is optimized for accuracy and resolution in the 40°-485°F temperature range.***
This sensor will not be a direct plug and play for your factory ECU. You will need to calibrate the ECU to read the sensor data correctly.

Please note: Thermistors do not have a certain polarity. So when wiring, wire color or pin location on our sensor does not correlate or require specific configuration.

This sensor was quickly scaled with the stock ecu with hp tunes and reads really accurate and reacts super fast with the procharger setup great upgrade over the stock lazy iat sensor
I dig motion race works, Their products their videos. But...I gotta say, ordering one rife IAT sensor, that Probably wights 2oz and having to pay $30 bucks for shipping, From iowa to Northern arkansas, Well... I felt like the Strawberry sucker that was in the box was mocking me. BUT" If they were to send me a hat to make up for it. ;);) I would pimp the hell out of it 😁
Photo is of failed GM IAT sensor that caused a litany of idle and driveability issues.
Installed new Rife unit, scaled it and all is good.
Super fast data supplied to my HP Tuners scanner.
Love it and will be back for future sensor business.
Same thread & plug as GM IAT sensor, a couple of minutes to set up with a FuelTech ECU using the supplied data sheet, and piece-of-mind at high IAT's on our methanol Procharged rail. Plus very reasonably priced compared to some other options out there.
Was well packaged, and arrived in a timely fashion. Looks to be well made. Functions normally. I believe the claims of faster acting and more accurate may be exaggerated, after some side by side testing with a GM sensor, at least in my application.
Installed the Rife sensor in TBSS intake manifold. Much faster response time to inlet air temperature changes. This replaced the factory GM MAT sensor.
This sensor is very accurate. Installed along with my Holley Terminator X. My tuner recommended Motion Works, and Holley has settings in their software for them. Customer Service is top notch!!! None better.
Motion Raceworks shipped it quick and the Rife AIT sensor is everything they said it is, super fast response and accurate! I have only had the car running a day or two with it, but it is already noticeably more accurate and the car performs more consistently.
The “OEM GM” doesn’t even fully go into then intercooler pipe. Reads 75° no matter what. Tons of issue. Installed the motion raceworks one, did the calibration. Perfect reading of IAT’s. 10/10 will install on every customers car from here on out.
I ordered this on 5/25/26, received 5/29/26✓. Realized I ordered the wrong size, and to get ahead of the wait ordered the proper size thinking I'll return the unused one.
On 6/3/26, I started the return process and hit the submit tab and was told my items were outside the return window..
So, I looked and my items weren't on sale. So I should've had 30 days, if I read it correctly.
So they should been returned less the restock fee, of which I would've asked if a credit could issued as I was planning to buy your LS valve covers with coil pack kit . So the one star is for poor return policy, and I'm out $82. I'm not a whiner, but you asked, so I told you. I got the corrected part and will let you know how you did after the Dyno and tune.
I have a question if you guys can help me out, Is this sensore compatible with an older fueltech 400 ecu? I like the idea of the sensore & i just havent put it to use yet
