The next generation of catch can technology has arrived! The Active 2 Stage Catch Can by Motion Raceworks. Our internally chambered and baffled top loader catch cans offer great ventilation and oil control for high horsepower performance engine combinations.
The Active 2 Stage Catch Can by Motion Raceworks can features a complex sealed and chambered baffling system that acts as an oil separator under normal driving where it contains oil, vacuum, and fumes. Under spirited driving the catch can opens up to breathe in similar fashion to our open element baffled catch can the let your engine breath. This catch can is ideal for naturally aspirated and boosted engines alike where they're utilized in non wide open throttle instances.
Usability and plumbing contains all of the favorite features of the top loader catch cans with a clockable mounting style to rotate fitting orientation with the supplied bracket. This catch can also features the top loader fitting design so that line plumbing from the can runs together. This makes for easier packaging, line routing, and use in tight spaces.
All cans come bright black anodized for a beautiful and durable finish.

Note: Due to design this will not facilitate dual -12AN hose ends connecting to can. We suggest any connections needing -12 run two individual cans due to demand of flow of entire system.

Install was reasonably straight forward. It would be nice if it came with a flat plate mount as well as the 90 degree mount but I made it work. I selected the 5/8" barbs and used 1/2 inch fuel line to hook it up. It was a little tight, but the 1/2 barb was too loose. Seems to have fixed my PCV issues and my truck runs much better than with the standard style catch cans.
Great quality! Larger than expected. For the price, I think it should’ve at least came with a drain tube. But I give 5 stars because the product itself is very nice and well made. Also looks awesome!
Simplified what I needed for this Type R.... 700 hp at 34PSI..... Misimoto catch can was out of it league at that power...To much Crank case pressure... This should work great with Drain kit...

Just installed on my supercharged 6.2L Went with the recirculating top option, great quality and has various mounting points for tight engine bays like mine! Baffle and check ball is top notch. Definitely worth the money!

Very happy with the can. Fit and finish is top notch. I was having some trouble with oil consumption and vapor coming out of the standard catch can. Using this to add a PCV to the system was the ticket.

Motion Raceworks 2 Stage Air/Oil Separator is great for street driven turbo cars. Installed it on my ‘87 Grand National. High quality piece. Very impressed with it.
Always great products and support. Dalton is always quick to respond and helpful. Active stage 2 catch can is awesome. I just made a small bracket out of some aluminum with a cutting wheel and drill to attach to head.
Catch cans came it quick. Build quality is really good. Bought them before the black Friday sale. I should have waited to buy now.

Awesome Quality and packaging. The most important is that solve completely the issue of oil smoke under Boost and the crank case odor in My Buick Grand National. Now I have a more pleasant car to drive. Thank you Motionraceworks for this awesome catch can.
I've only handled it at this point, installation will be a ways out, and evaluating its actual performance even farther out, but it is a quality unit upon first inspection. I anticipate buying a second one for my setup to cover the anticipated venting needs.

Only thing don’t like is you have to buy their fittings. There is not enough. Room to screw 2 cheaper fittings into it. But works and looks great
