Motion Raceworks Billet SBF Valve Covers (Black Anodized)

The result is a valve cover that is something that can be used for a HUGE variety of builds without sacrificing looks or function.

Coil-Packs

A variety of factors go into keeping coil packs on the valve cover including looks, serviceability, coil choice, clearance for fittings, header design, and more.  Whether you choose to run coils or not, this cover is perfect for you.  Featuring a top rail mounting design, if you do not wish to run coils, there are no leftover mounting bosses or holes that are unsightly or in plain view.  If you decide to run coil packs, every LS coil made as well as aftermarket coils such as Smart Coils (IGN1A), CDI can be used.  We thought of everything. To add the brackets, you simply choose the bracket options in the listing or add ala carte at a later time.  

Every coil bracket is adjustable and clears not only the breather fittings, but also allows for a large billet oil cap. Finally valve cover hardware to remove valve cover is accessible and usable with coils on the car.  

Additionally, coil packs have been checked and will clear intakes, fuel rails, and even wide hanging superchargers.  

Breathers

At Motion Raceworks we understand PCV and crank case pressure is unavoidable.  We also believe that filling catch cans up with oil due to poor breather design is not acceptable.  This valve cover features a long high flow breather channel which will remove excess crank case pressure, and is serviceable by removing C-Clips. Our cover was machined on the top side to receive one of our custom low profile -12 ORB fittings.  This means you can adapt to 10AN or 12AN.  Note: Custom fittings were designed and made to allow for packaging and clearance of internal baffling, standard -12ORB fittings will not work.  Fittings Included, but also sold separately.

If you are frustrated like I was and searched high and low for a good looking set of valve covers with the option of a quality baffle with bungs for a breather/catch can system and don’t forget a screw on oil fill cap then the Motion Raceworks billet SBF valve covers are for you! They might be outta stock, they might not be on the production schedule, be patient get on the list! As I reflect back on my newest Motion Raceworks purchase whilst sitting on my throne I can honestly say the experience couldn’t have gone any better. It was by far one of my easiest transactions with most of the praise going to the sales associate Dalton. I was put on a list sometime in 2024 for “if/when” they run a production of these billet SBF valve covers and he called in early December. Now that my legs are asleep I’ll finish with this, these aren’t cheap, no billet valve covers are. But none of the other brands include all of the necessary options at the same price point. Regards,

Great valve covers really like how they turned out. Made installing a breather system really easy. They also work with my Holley Systemax intake without using a spacer to clear the valve covers. It has about a 1/4 inch of clearance.

You get what you pay for! These valve covers are awesome. I have the kit with the catch can as well. The baffling is exactly what they advertise. I had a set of Ford Motorsports cover with lines and a catch can. I was loosing a half quart of oil on a 30 minute cruise with a SBF 455 Procharger F1X 1000 RWHP motor. Checked the can after 30 minutes and not a single drop in the can or anything in lines. Well worth the money and it looks awesome!

Fantastic workmanship and design. They are shorter than my previous Moroso ones and provide more clearance in areas I didn't even realize were tight. They clear my rail rockers with room to spare and for some reason make the engine quieter, must be the awesomeness! I really like the baffling system and think it will reduce blowby on my boosted setup. The filler cap is a great idea but thick oil won't drain quick enough through it with a funnel so I won't be using it anymore as it spills out of it.

Definitely a quality piece the pics dont do justice. Nice thick base to seal properly and the weight of these definitely prove these are not some cheap thin covers. Price other billet covers and the feature these offer and they are a deal and end oil control problems with catch cans with the internal baffles.
