Coil-Packs
A variety of factors go into keeping coil packs on the valve cover including looks, serviceability, coil choice, clearance for fittings, header design, and more. Whether you choose to run coils or not, this cover is perfect for you. Featuring a top rail mounting design, if you do not wish to run coils, there are no leftover mounting bosses or holes that are unsightly or in plain view. If you decide to run coil packs, every LS coil made as well as aftermarket coils such as Smart Coils (IGN1A), CDI can be used. We thought of everything. To add the brackets, you simply choose the bracket options in the listing or add ala carte at a later time.
Every coil bracket is adjustable and clears not only the breather fittings, but also allows for a large billet oil cap. Finally valve cover hardware to remove valve cover is accessible and usable with coils on the car.
Additionally, coil packs have been checked and will clear intakes, fuel rails, and even wide hanging superchargers.
Breathers
At Motion Raceworks we understand PCV and crank case pressure is unavoidable. We also believe that filling catch cans up with oil due to poor breather design is not acceptable. This valve cover features a long high flow breather channel which will remove excess crank case pressure, and is serviceable by removing C-Clips. Our cover was machined on the top side to receive one of our custom low profile -12 ORB fittings. This means you can adapt to 10AN or 12AN.
Note: Custom fittings were designed and made to allow for packaging and clearance of internal baffling, standard -12ORB fittings will not work. Fittings Included, but also sold separately.

Just by chance I needed valve covers that utilized a larger diameter hose cause I was making some serious crank case pressure under 30psi. Odds were in my favor when I checked motion raceworks website. It’s a plus gold is kind of my thing too. Not the first and not the last motion piece on my car. Absolutely love them
Absolutely 100% love made in America. There's nothing better, from the quality of the parts right down to the care and attention to detail in the packaging. Sure you might pay a little more than the big guys like summit or jegs but your truly getting quality super fast in the US delivery and paying for support with them. These valve covers are falsely advertised - As soon I opened the box, I knew I couldn’t put these on my engine. I’m pretty sure they’re made of real gold! The coil pack mounts made great mounting holes to attach a chain and wear these puppies around my neck. My bling game is on point now. They will 100% triple your street cred and bling factor. Seriously - As always with any product from Motion, the quality and fitment is unmatched and should be an industry standard.
Awesome fit. The team gave me a hint that ICT billet spacers would help them clear my BTR shaft mounted rockers and a set of 1/2” spacers did the trick

Have not installed yet. But like the simple clean design and waited awhile to get the gold ones for the fact they will really pop in my engine bay witch is black grey bare aluminum and red car. But really like the looks of them and I am already aware the venting works just as good as any others if not slightly better
