Our Manual Brake Master cylinder kit utilizes a billet firewall mounting plate CNC'd from 6061 Aluminum. This plate is designed to utilize a Strange Engineering Mopar Dual Master Cylinder. This requires you to drill your brake pedal for the master cylinder pushrod Kit includes all hardware necessary, Strange Engineering Mopar Dual Master Cylinder.

- 6:1 Pedal Ratio optimized for manual brakes

- Template for firewall modification
Note: This kit improves the brake pedal ratio for use with manual brakes vs. power brakes. While sharing the original bolt pattern, this requires you to modify the existing hole where the master cylinder goes through the firewall to accommodate the stronger ratio. Template included in package.
Note: Due to the difference in pedal travel based off of the required manual master cylinder ratio, brake light switch may require modification to work properly based off of pedal position.
Note: We recommend a 6-7:1 pedal ratio on all manual brake systems

3rd gen Camaro manual master cylinder fit heat and wasn't too hard to install.
Install went good. Can be a challenge to swap, so preparing yourself is key. There is a video in these comments, that was done very well. Worst part for me was getting the factory lines switched over to standard, from metric. They didn't want to seal with new flares. They pedal feels good with the bore size. I have a super lumpy cam, so this was definitely a worth while investment of time. Wasn'tuch money involved. Just a ton of time and work. Well worth it and I love the results.

I didn't like the fact that this particular sku doesn't come with any instructions or templates like heir webpage states. For some reason instead of putting a 14 cent piece of paper in the box they'd rather waste your time to have to call them to and they'll explain this and also describe how to cut your firewall over the phone.

Everything in the kit is awesome I think they should include hoses for bleeding the master cylinder but besides that it’s great!
