Billet Fuel Sump -12 ORB Single Outlet 27-160
This fuel sump is designed to work with stock and aftermarket tanks which need to be retrofitted to have a sump added. Featuring a Machined billet body with an O-ring seal. This is designed so that you can drill/cut/hole saw a hole into a plastic or metal fuel tank on a flat surface and install without further fabrication or welding.

Works and sealed up great but the screw that it came with the threads end about a half inch too short from being able to tighten together. Had to space the screw out quite a bit to get it tight enough which sucks for the look of it since I was in a rush to get the tank back in. Otherwise it works great.

A 4th Gen Camaro has a flat spot in the bottom of the tank just below the stock fuel pump bucket. That’s the perfect spot for this part. I used a 2 7/8” hole saw and after I cleaned up the shavings, the sump just snapped in perfectly. The tank is thick enough that the alignment fingers do not align the top plate that secures the sump. It was easy enough to hold it straight and tighten it. Saved me from buying a new tank. Thanks!

Hand cut it into bottom of fuel tank with tin snips for the sump seemed to work better and easier than a drill. Nice tight fit with no leaks in a 54 Oldsmobile

I installed it on a 1970s plastic gas tank. I cut a 3” hole with a holes saw and the motion sump went in super easy. Seals great. Make some thing that could have been time consuming super simple.

It's a simple part, but very high quality. Easy to install. So easy, in fact, that there are no instructions. Just drill a 3" hole in the tank, insert the retaining ring, then the sump, one bolt, done. EZPZ.

Great product idea however you must be careful lining up tabs on the sump and the internal ring. If not lined up perfectly it will leak. Trying to line it up through a fuel cell and through a trunk floor was a little difficult.
